Baldur

Baldur is the spirit that lives in the vegetation and, for him, the mistletoe is equivalent to the very principle of life of the Oak. In winter, the oak sheds its leaves,where as the mistletoe, which is a parasite plant that lives on this branches, keeps its green colour even though it has no roots. At Baldur’s death, Odin, his brother, degged Loki tobring him back like, but he refused.
